iPhone users have a great advantage: Safari and Chrome on iOS both work perfectly with SocialSave Hub, and the Apple App Store doesn't allow Twitter downloader apps anyway — so the browser approach is the only real option.
What You Need
- iPhone with iOS 15 or later
- Safari or Chrome browser
- URL of the public social media video
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the social media app and find the video you want to save.
- Tap the share icon or three-dot menu and choose Copy link.
- Open your iPhone browser and go to the appropriate SocialSave Hub downloader.
- Paste the URL and tap Download.
- When the download link appears, tap and hold it.
Why iPhone Users Must Use Browser-Based Tools
Apple's App Store guidelines prevent apps from offering social media video downloading functionality. Any 'Instagram downloader' or 'Twitter downloader' app on the App Store either doesn't work or uses workarounds that violate the platforms' terms. Browser-based tools like SocialSave Hub are the correct and reliable option for iPhone users.
Moving Downloads to iPhone Photos
Downloaded videos land in your Files app under Downloads. To move them to Photos:
- Open the Files app and tap the video.
- Tap the share icon (box with arrow) at the bottom.
- Select Save Video to add it to your Photos library.
Download social media videos on your iPhone — free, no app install needed.
