Save Facebook Videos on Samsung Galaxy — Complete Guide

Samsung Galaxy devices run Samsung Internet browser alongside Chrome. Both work with SocialSave Hub. This guide covers both browsers.

Requirements

  • Android 10 or later (works on earlier versions too)
  • Chrome, Firefox, or Samsung Internet browser
  • URL of the public social media video

Step-by-Step

  1. Open the social media app and find the video.
  2. Tap the share icon and select Copy link.
  3. Open your browser and go to SocialSave Hub.
  4. Paste the URL and tap Download.
  5. When the download link appears, tap and hold or simply tap it.

Using Samsung Internet Browser

Samsung Internet handles downloads similarly to Chrome. After tapping a download link:

  • A download notification appears in the notification shade
  • Videos save to your Downloads folder, visible in the My Files app
  • Samsung's Gallery app shows Downloads under Albums, making videos easy to find

File Manager Access

Downloaded videos are MP4 files in your device's Downloads folder. Access them via Files app (Google Files, Samsung My Files) or directly in the Gallery app under the Downloads album.
