Android's share menu makes the copy-paste workflow faster than on any other platform. This guide uses Android's built-in sharing to streamline the Twitter video download process.

Requirements

  • Android 10 or later (works on earlier versions too)
  • Chrome, Firefox, or Samsung Internet browser
  • URL of the public social media video

Step-by-Step

  1. Open the social media app and find the video.
  2. Tap the share icon and select Copy link.
  3. Open your browser and go to SocialSave Hub.
  4. Paste the URL and tap Download.
  5. When the download link appears, tap and hold or simply tap it.

Using Android Share Menu

When you tap Share on a Twitter/X video on Android:

  • Android shows a share sheet with all available actions
  • Tap Copy link to Tweet
  • Switch to your browser — the URL is already in your clipboard
  • On Android 13+, a clipboard preview appears when you tap the URL input, making pasting instant

File Manager Access

Downloaded videos are MP4 files in your device's Downloads folder. Access them via Files app (Google Files, Samsung My Files) or directly in the Gallery app under the Downloads album.

Download social media videos directly to your Android device — free and instant.
